Experience FAQ
Before You Crawl
How does it work?
You’ll be given your very own Trick or Drink passport, which gets stamped at each bar you visit. Once you’ve hit all the stops, your ghostly crawl is complete. There’s no strict time limit, so sip, savour, and haunt at your own pace — but no circling back for extra “spirits,” our bartenders can sense mischief a mile away.
Where do I get my tickets or wristbands?
No need to print anything — just have your tickets ready on your phone and head to the Haunted Woods, located in First Fleet Park and Tallawoladah Lawns. Our team will scan your ticket, hand you your wristband and Trick or Drink passport, and you’re free to begin your spooky sipping adventure.
My ticket doesn't show a time, help!
Don’t panic, that’s not a glitch — it’s just ghostly discretion. Once your ticket is scanned on-site, our team will know exactly which session you’ve booked and guide you accordingly.

Frequently asked questions
When and where is this happening?
Ghost Festival runs Thursday, 29 October to Sunday, 1 November 2026 at The Rocks, Sydney. 4:00pm — 11:00pm, everyday!
Do I need tickets?
Tickets are non-refundable, but free session transfers are available with at least 48 hours’ notice — email us and we’ll move you.
Is there a dress code?
You won’t be turned away for looking like you crawled out of the grave — we encourage it. Just keep it safe and family-friendly in roaming areas, and leave any real or replica weapons at home.
What's included in the free entry?
Live entertainment, roaming performers, spooky markets, themed stalls, and the general festival atmosphere. Food, drinks, and special experiences are purchased separately.
Is it cashless?
Most stalls accept card or contactless payment, but we recommend carrying a little cash just in case.
Will there be food and drinks?
Plenty — themed eats, cocktails, and festival favourites throughout The Rocks.
Can I get there by public transport?
Yes. The Rocks is easily reached by train, bus, and ferry, with Circular Quay as the closest hub. Public transport is strongly recommended, as parking is limited.
What if it rains?
The festival goes ahead rain or shine — some experiences are indoors, others outdoors, so bring a jacket or umbrella if the forecast looks spooky. Ghost Cinema guests rained out on-site should email us so we can sort a resolution.
I bought tickets, but the time has changed; what do I do?
We email booked customers ahead of any schedule change — check spam/junk and the experience page for the update. Your ticket may still show the original time, but the website’s schedule is correct, so attend at the newly communicated time.
Can I get walk-in tickets?
Demand is always high and headline experiences have a history of selling out before opening night. Booking early is the best way to secure your spot. Walk-ins are possible, but never guaranteed.
Can I bring kids?
Generally, yes — check the guidelines below so no one’s spooked out of their skin:
