FAQ

When and where is this happening?

Ghost Festival runs from Thursday 30 October to Sunday 2 November 2025 at The Rocks, Sydney.

Thursday & Friday: 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Saturday: 12:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Sunday: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Entry to Ghost Festival is free! You can roam, soak up the atmosphere, and enjoy entertainment at no charge. Food, drinks, market stalls, and ticketed experiences are paid separately. But yes, tickets are required for the experiences, required, not a suggestion!

Will you be turned away at the gates if you’re not dressed like you’ve just crawled out of the grave? Of course not! We encourage our ghouls and gals to come let their spooky side out because Ghost Festival is the perfect place to do it in! Just keep it safe, family-friendly in roaming areas, and maybe leave any real or replica weapons at home. We’ve still got the little ones to think about!

Entry. You’ll get access to live entertainment, roaming performers, spooky markets, themed stalls, and the general festival atmosphere. Food, drinks, and special experiences are purchased separately.

Most stalls accept card or contactless payments, but we recommend bringing a little cash just in case.

Yes; expect plenty of food stalls, themed eats, cocktails, and festival favourites throughout The Rocks.

Yes! The Rocks is easily accessible by train, bus, and ferry. Circular Quay is the closest transport hub.
We strongly recommend public transport as parking is limited.

The festival goes ahead rain or shine. Some experiences are indoors, others outdoors, so bring a jacket or umbrella if the forecast looks spooky.

For Ghost Cinema customers, if your session is rained out on-site, please email us so we can sort a resolution.

We generally send an email out prior to the movie’s scheduled time to inform all booked customers about this update. Make sure to check your spam/junk folders and even the experience page to check the updated times.

Your ticket might still show the original time, but the updated schedule on the website is correct. Please attend at the new time we’ve communicated.

The demand for Ghost Festival is always high, and many of our headline experiences have a history of selling out well before opening night. Booking early is the best way to make sure you secure your spot and avoid disappointment.

Walk-ins are always possible, but never guaranteed.

The general consensus is… yes! But check out the guidelines below so no one’s spooked out of their skins:
